Quickly explained:
Our in-house telematics specialist, Mag. (FH) Christian Culik, has been advocating for the development of the Driving Log for a long time. In this video, Christian explains why this software solution was so important to him, how to purchase the product, and who the app and PC client are helpful for!
Who does the regulation affect?
The Driving Log regulation of the Austrian Labor Inspectorate requires the keeping of a driving log under the Working Hours Act. This regulation applies to the following groups:
- Drivers of motor vehicles used for the carriage of goods, with a total weight not exceeding 3.5 tonnes
- Drivers of vehicles used for the transport of fewer than 9 persons (including the driver)
Additionally, keeping a driving log is also mandatory for vehicles not equipped with an analog or digital control device.
Our solution: easy download - no telematics unit required!
Preferably uncomplicated. With the TachoEASY Driving Log, we have created a simple and efficient software solution that is particularly interesting for smaller companies that do not have telematics units installed in their vehicles. The app for drivers can be downloaded onto an Android phone via the Marketplace. In addition, a PC client is downloaded, which can control all apps. This gives the office full insight and access.
The TEOS app is the gateway to our telematics world. Every company can flexibly expand the app with certain modules.
