How to receive fundings
Lesezeit: 4 minutes | Wednesday, 09. Jan 2019
The Federal Office for Goods Transport (BAG) is once again supporting entrepreneurs with their own fleet as part of the De-minimis funding program, covering up to 80% of investments. Investments in measures to increase fleet efficiency (e.g., telematics) are among those supported. Applications can be submitted between January 7, 2019, and September 30.
Eligibility Requirements:
Companies engaged in goods transport (§1 GüKG) with commercial vehicles weighing at least 7.5 tons are generally eligible for funding. You can view the specific eligibility requirements here.
Funding Amount:
BAG supports specific investments of up to €2,000 per vehicle. The maximum funding amount is €33,000 per company per calendar year. Further information on the funding amount can be found here.
Eligible Investments:
BAG supports the following categories of measures within the "De-minimis" funding program:
- Measures to increase efficiency (e.g., acquisition of telematics systems, software for the display, evaluation, management, and archiving of digital tachograph data)
- Personal measures (e.g., expenses for safety equipment/workwear for drivers/load personnel/dispatchers)
- Vehicle-related measures (e.g., acquisition of vehicle-related components of telematics solutions)
The catalog of measures is slightly adjusted by BAG each year. For example, this year, lane assistance systems are no longer funded. You can find the detailed catalog of measures for 2019 here.
Funding will be granted until BAG funds are exhausted. Applications will be processed in the order received. Therefore, it is advisable to apply for funding in a timely manner.
Invest in the future now! Seize the opportunity and secure a grant from BAG of up to 80% of the investment. Whether you are establishing a professional fleet management system from scratch or optimizing existing processes, the BAG De-minimis funding program presents the perfect opportunity. We are happy to advise you on solutions in the areas of order management, dispatching & telematics, remote reading of vehicle and driver data (RDL), and mobile or stationary driver's license checks.
