Digital Tachograph 4.0 - What can users expect?

In 2006, the mandatory introduction of the digital tachograph was decided. For companies of all sizes in the transport industry, TachoLOG® provides complete data management related to the digital tachograph.

From June 15th, 2019, the new smart generation of tachographs must be installed in all new vehicles. Due to its relevance, the use of the digital tachographs of type DTCO 4.0, as well as new control devices for drivers, entrepreneurs, and workshops, is expected to play a significant role at the trade fair.

To enable customers and interested parties to archive and evaluate the data from the smart tachograph, driver, and company cards, the professional archiving solution TachoLOG® has been further developed and adapted to meet the new challenges. Whether digital tachograph or smart tachograph, TachoLOG® provides the optimal and reliable solutions for tachograph data management. At the booth, visitors can get advice on the topic of DTCO 4.0 and the associated changes and solutions.

Presentation of innovations in dispatching & logistics

In addition to DTCO 4.0 and the archiving software TachoLOG®, visitors to the trade fair booth will get a live insight into the new functions of the dispatching & telematics software BlueLOGICO® and the TEOS® app at five demo stations. New features include the toll module for precise toll cost calculation, mobile driver's license check, and digital delivery note for the DriverDisplay and the TEOS® app.

With the TEOS® app, tours, orders, or text messages can be sent directly to the driver's smartphone. The driver receives them in real-time, can start tours directly, view order information, sign delivery notes, and much more. The TEOS® app works on common Android smartphones and can replicate a variety of functions even without a telematics box in the vehicle.
